The sealing strip has good water resistance
The oil resistance of sealing strips in the construction industry is second only to polysulfide rubber, acrylic rubber, and fluororubber. In addition, nitrile rubber also has good wear resistance, aging resistance, and air tightness, but its ozone resistance, electrical insulation, and cold resistance are relatively poor, while its conductivity is relatively good. Therefore, it is widely used in the rubber industry. In industry, more effective methods of adjusting molecular weight and lowering the polymerization temperature to 5 ℃ are often used to reduce side reactions and improve its processing performance.
Nitrile rubber can also be improved in performance by blending with various rubbers such as chloroprene rubber, isoprene rubber, butadiene rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, and synthetic resins such as polyvinyl chloride and phenolic resin (see polymer blends). Can be used for a long time in air at 120 ℃ or in oil at 150 ℃. In addition, it also has good water resistance, airtightness, and excellent bonding performance.
